MAXWELL MARINE HRC 10-8 Windlass

The new HRC Series is Maxwell’s latest selection of fully automatic horizontal rope/chain or all chain anchor windlasses. The HRC Series includes Maxwell’s patented Wave Design chain wheel that allows for any type of marine chain to be used on the windlasses. This means that High Test, BBB or any other marine anchor chain can be used. The compact HRC 6 and HRC 8 incorporate Maxwell’s automatic free fall technology. This new feature allows for free fall operation from the helm and if you do not want the free fall option, simply flip a lever on the unit to shut it off. A trouble-free rope/chain transition is guaranteed by means of an innovative, proven and patented pressure arm system, within a safe, enclosed design.

The HRC has an aesthetically-pleasing, entirely above-deck design which encapsulates the motor and drive in a two-part watertight case consisting of a die cast, marine grade, hard anodized alloy front section and a rugged, easily removable composite motor cover. This allows for quick and easy on-deck access.
